The Jerry Garcia Estate and Mr Musichead Rock Art Gallery are delighted to announce the Los Angeles stop on The Jerry Garcia Art Tour.

Garcia, best known as a musical icon to millions of rock & roll fans, was also a talented visual artist, creating nearly 500 pieces of art between 1985 and 1995 using watercolor, gouache, pencil, ink, airbrush, and digital media.

As a method to share this talented artist's images, the Garcia Estate has developed an all-inclusive tour of Jerry's art. This complete exhibit includes original signed paintings, limited edition prints, and photographs by famed Grateful Dead photographer Herb Greene plus six other well-known photographers.

The exhibit also coincides with the release of the book Jerry Garcia – The Collected Artworks. Edited by April Higashi, Art Curator of the Jerry Garcia estate, with a forward by Mickey Hart, the book, will be available for sale at the show.

Jerry Garcia label wines will also be featured at the exhibit for tasting and purchase, with partial proceeds benefiting the Jerry Garcia foundation.

Mr Musichead is LA's first gallery devoted exclusively to rock art and photography by its musicians, artists, photographers, and designers. It features album cover art, poster art, and photography chronicling rock & roll's rich heritage; as well as artwork by some of its greatest legends.
